ABOUT US

We are a determined group of high school students who hope to increase participation in North Carolina's research competitions through our Virtual Science Research Workshops. We will teach students the necessary skills for successfully competing in research competitions.

These skills include:

• Choosing a research topic and experimental question

• Writing a Research Plan and Research Paper

• Understanding and following the Scientific Method

• Making an effective scientific poster or presentation for Science Fairs

• Presenting confidently and effectively

Participation in science fairs provides exposure to these skills at a young age. Having experience with writing research papers helps significantly in higher education, and presentation skills are important in all aspects of life, even outside the field of science.​
